I began my journey in the funeral industry in 2016, working for a renowned funeral home in New Plymouth. In 2018 I gained my Diploma in Embalming, becoming one of the first qualified Maori Embalmers for Taranaki, which is something I am extremely proud of. I decided I wanted to further my skills in the funeral industry and becoming a Funeral Director just seemed to be the next step for me. I’ve been fortunate to be hugely supported by whanau, hapu and Iwi while working in this industry, beyond thankful for this.
It’s a special time when you get to work with families who have suffered a loss, it can be incredibly hard for them to manage helping them in any way possible and guiding them throughout the entire process is always my priority.
I am married, have 5 children and 2 beautiful grandsons...these are my reason.
